As defined in Section 90 of the National Information and Communications Technology Act 2009, the UAS regime’s mandate is to promote Papua New Guinea’s long-term economic and social development by funding approved UAS Projects. These projects encourage the development of ICT infrastructure and improve the availability of ICT services, particularly in rural communities.
